Tulips circa 2006

"Tulips" by Elaine Coyne circa 2006, was developed for the recent expansion of Atlanta's High Museum of Art.

The design is a loose interpretation of "White Tulips" ca. 1912, an oil on board by Charles Sheeler featured in the High's reinstalled twentieth-century modernist galleries.

"The Combination of organic shape, color and bold form are the components that touched me to inspire my 'Tulips' collection, ca. 2006. Flowers and nature have always been a continued source of influence and empowerment for so many artists"- Elaine Coyne

In limited editions of 750 pieces. Royalties to the Atlanta High Museum of Art.
