Everyone always asks, where does Elaine get her inspiration? so here it is: The American Arts and Crafts Movement from circa 1900, is known for handhammered forms in brass and copper with natural patinas...ruined if removed. The lamps, tables, table objects and oil lamps sell for $1000 to $250,000 in antique stores and auctions in the early 21st Century. This movement has been one of my jumping off points. I love the artistic unity of form and function. Elaine Coyne Galleries extends the American Arts and Crafts Movement to incorporate sterling silver and gold as well as brass patinas for contemporary life.
