Mobile concepts with bimetal expression
The new Mobiles concept from Elaine Coyne Galleries is a return to the roots of Elaine Coyne Galleries. Way back in the early 70's Elaine Coyne received a scholarship from the University of Allende in San Miguel, Mexico; and, while enjoying all the elements of another country, she proceeded to engage in the most wonderful brass wire handhammered cuff bracelet that was soldered and layered. Once Elaine returned to the USA, she put it up for sale and this terrific cuff sold within 20 minutes of the first Cornell University Craft Show, of course this artwear piece won best of show, so that might account for it's immediate sale. We have returned to those concepts, as Elaine was 30 years ahead of her time and now those concepts can fully explode and become full out winners.
Elaine wears the MTGS 1n necklace and MTGS 5e earrings as a regular understated theme to her dressing style. |
